Happy Earth Day...and 10-month birthday to me!

Family Fun in Sun River

My parents and I took a road trip last weekend to Sun River in Central Oregon for a little getaway. I loved having both of my parents to myself the whole weekend.

My favorite part was swimming in the pool! I learned how to jump in and go under water. I can't wait for this summer!

Happy Easter!

I woke up this morning to find my first Easter basket!

My first Easter was also chock full of things I learned to do for the very FIRST time. I kept my mom & dad very busy with the camera showing them all of the fun things I can do... but I move very fast!

I can now clap my hands in excitement

I love trying to pull up to my feet on my own...I'm getting very brave!

I'm finally crawling on my hands & knees instead of the army crawl on my belly

I've also learned to get from a crawling to position to sitting up...which I love!

Oh, I almost forgot...I've learned to be monkey wrangler, too

Happy Spring!

Mom, Dad & I have been enjoying working in the backyard getting our garden ready for summer. I love being throw up in the air! I can't wait to run around this summer and learn how to garden. We will have lots of fruits and veggies to eat!! Peaches, strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, broccoli, peas...yum!

I'm 9 months old

Today I turned 9 months old. I celebrated by having a great day outside in 70-degree sunny weather! It was also the first day of Spring. I'm growing very fast, wearing 12-month sized clothes, army crawling and scooting all around, talking up a storm and smiling...as always! My favorite sounds to make are loud screams because I like to see the reaction I can get from people around me. I also make the "daadaa", "baabaa" and "maamaa" sounds, especially when I'm riding in the car. I really like to play by myself with my toys but my favorite toys these days are plastic containers and any kind of bottle that I can put in my mouth. My parents seem to be in a better mood as I'm sleeping a lot more at night, too!

Teething biscuit...mmmm!

Mom let me try my first teething biscuit when we went on a playdate at a local coffee place. It was so awesome! But, she took it away quickly when I started to bite big chunks that I could easily choke on. She said I'll get to try it again soon but for now I'm not ready. ;)

I'm 8 months old

On February 20th I turned 8 months old and to celebrate I slept 8 hours a night for my parents for a whole week straight! I figured I kept them at their wits end long enough and they needed a break. But, I'm keeping them on their toes because I haven't done it again since. I'll do it again when the time is right.

I'm ALMOST crawling but I have found that I can get places faster if I just roll. I also push backwards with quite skill! I'm continuing to explore and find joy in everyday things (especially trying new foods).

Play Ball!

I've had a set of Nerf balls since I was born and now I can finally play with them. My parents cheer everytime I catch it or roll it. I think that is so funny. I know my Grandpa will be so excited to play with me when they come to visit soon.

My Friend Elise

Last weekend, my new friend Elise came to visit me from Sacramento with her mom Heather. She is so cute! Heather and my mom are great friends and college roommates. We had a great time playing. I loved to watch Elise crawl around and I was jealous that she could move so fast. I'll catch up with her someday! We went to the park, played with my dogs, played in the tub and even went to lunch! Our moms had a great time, too. Here are some pictures from our weekend...

I've been to 2 Trailblazer games already (thanks Bryce & Kristi!). I love to watch all of the lights and dance to the music during timeouts.

I love technology

My parents have all of these cool toys that are shiny & black. They try to get me to play with my "kid" versions but what I really want are the real remotes, phones and computers. I'm hoping I'll get my own laptop someday because I have a lot of blogging to do. :)

I'm 7 months old!

On January 20th I turned 7-months. I'm starting to get up on all fours but I still roll around to get to where I want to go. Mom said she's fine with me waiting to crawl because once I become mobile, she knows it's all over from there!
